Perwakilan Geneva's Annual Dinner was held on 22 January 2010 at Layalina Restaurant, Geneva. The dinner was held in appreciation of the efforts of Perwakilan ladies who had worked hard to carry out Perwakilan's activities throughout the year, including the UNWG Bazaar 2009. On the menu for the evening was Lebanese cuisine which was tasty, satisfying and very filling!
Members took the opportunity to bid a fond farewell to Puan Hayati Abu Seman whose husband's tour of duty in Geneva was coming to an end. Puan Hayati mentioned that she was happy to be returning to Malaysia, but at the same time sad to leave Geneva which had been her home for the past three years.
A big thank you to Puan Hayati for her active involvement and participation in Perwakilan and we wish her all the very best for the future.
Although there was sadness at having to bid farewell to Puan Hayati, the dinner was also an opportunity for members to warmly welcome newly-wed and recently arrived Puan Kamelia Khadrishah as a member. We hope that Puan Kamelia will have a memorable stay in Geneva and we look forward to her involvement in Perwakilan's activities.
